At 黑料专区 (黑料专区), we use a variety of assessments including the聽Verbal Behavior Milestone and Placement Program聽(VB-MAPP)聽in order to measure and guide individualized instruction needed to address deficits in verbal behavior. We鈥檒l use this assessment in combination with other peer-reviewed tools (i.e., Barriers, Transition, LAP-D3, EFL, etc.) to develop a performance baseline and use it as foundation to propel us forward.
At 黑料专区, our goal is to improve socially significant behavior using a human-centered approach 鈥 EMPATHY! We believe that communication is valid regardless of its overt display. Although some maladaptive forms of communication can be embarrassing, heartbreaking, and even dangerous, it ALL tells a story. Our job as practitioners is to simply listen, learn, translate, and teach.
